Valley New School students have volunteered over 45,000 hours of service at over 100 organizations in our community.

VNS staff and students have guided and continue to guide the start-up of other charter schools across the state.

Valley New School has been named a Best High School by U.S. News & World Report.

100% of students are accepted into a post-secondary institution.

Doors open to 64 students, grades 7-10

Enrollment expanded to grades 7-11

2005-2006

Enrollment expanded to grades 7-12

1st graduating class received diplomas

2007-2008

Earned national Lab School status by EdVisions, Inc., recognizing VNS as a standard to which all other EdVisions network schools should model themselves

2008-2009

Earned Charter School of the Year: Silver Award*

2009-2010

Earned Charter School Innovator of the Year: Distinguished Merit Award*

Earned 2010 Fox Cities Youth Alliance Service Award presented by the Volunteer Center of East Central Wisconsin

2010-2011

Enrollment expanded to 68 students
